The internet has changed the way people buy homes, just like it has changed the way we buy many things. The majority of UK residents have bought goods online and for many people, the internet is undoubtedly the first port of call when they are looking for a new home. They may have seen a ‘For Sale’ sign and subsequently gone online for more details or they may be simply browsing portals, but many people pursue their property online. You only have to look at the strength of Zoopla and Rightmove, which both attract millions of page views every day, to see how important the internet has become to home buyers.

If you’re looking to sell your property, here are just some of the ways in which McIntyre & Company stay ahead of the game when it comes to marketing your home online:

Picking the right portals

All properties for sale are listed on Zoopla, PrimeLocation and Rightmove, which we feel gives the best possible chance of being seen online.  When you consider a high percentage of all our enquiries from potential buyers last year came from either Zoopla or Rightmove, there is no better place to be listed.

Be mobile ready

It is no longer enough for Estate Agents to simply list properties on its website. More and more people browse the internet on mobile and tablet devices, which is why we have made sure our website is fully responsive for mobile devices. If your chosen agent’s website is not mobile ready, your buyers could be turning off before they’ve even seen your listing.

Our marketing fees

Our fees are transparent and uncomplicated with a commission on sale price achieved at 1.25% plus VAT.  Unlike a number of other Estate Agents we do not make any additional charges for the following:-
